On this lesson of Detentions and Dragons, Josh and Matt talk about Ioun stones! They discuss what they are, how to pronounce them (sounds like "ion"), why to use them, and some homebrewed versions for your game. In a fantasy world filled with +3 magic swords and wands that do 100 magical effects, sometimes it is nice to have a simple magic item that provides simple bonuses.
Also, this lesson was inspired by the great pebble debate from a much earlier lesson of Detentions and Dragons 😊
