On this lesson of Detentions and Dragons, Josh and Matt discuss D&D Essentials. Approximately five years after releasing their original starter kit, Wizards of the Coast released...another starter kit for 5th edition D&D called D&D Essentials.
Remakes aren't necessarily bad but is this new product an inspired way to attract the next generation of players to D&D or is it simply a cash grab. Also, would this be something teacher DMs would want to use in their club and class? Listen to find out.
